About Matt Bono: Principal Engineer

Piertech

Matt is the Principal of PierTech Engineering and holds engineering degrees from UM-St. Louis and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has over a decade of experience in structural engineering and has engineered and led hundreds of renovation and new construction projects in his career. He spent the majority of his career working on retail, multi-family residential, warehouse, government, education, and industrial projects. Prior to joining PierTech Engineering, Matt had about 8 years of experience specifying and designing helical pile systems for new construction and repair/ renovation projects. He approaches helical pile engineering with a creative lens when necessary to keep projects within budget and installation on schedule. Matt is always working hard to grow as an engineer and leader, which fits perfectly with PierTech Systems’ initiative to continuously innovate their products and equipment.

About Bret Anderson: Principal Engineer

Piertech

Bret, who has worked in the geotechnical and structural industry for over 40 years, brings over two decades of experience specific to the design, review, and load testing of helical pile systems. Bret previously worked as Principal Engineer for Northern Technologies, LLC as chief engineer responsible for client maintenance, principal design engineer, and project manager servicing deep foundation systems for clients within the power, refining, industrial, and commercial building markets.

Bret is an experienced and well-known executive in the industry. PierTech Engineering is privileged to have him as the head of our engineering support team. His strong industry knowledge and innovative ideas will help PierTech continue to develop and grow for many years to come.
